This world, my friends, is a cruel place. It is not the jive, free love, environment we all expected to grow into.

It is a place where one's selfish assistant decides to throw their engagement party during the most important global conference of the year.

I ask you -- how am I expected to be my debonair self if I'm responsible for the day to day tedium of taking care of myself?

You wanna know what's difficult? Finding somebody to fly me and a couple people up to a part of Alaska that nobody'll fly to because of weather patterns that Doug says are fake. That's difficult.

A week. And you would be in charge of me. Keep track of where I need to be when, what I should wear, who I should schmooze, etc.

I'd tell you everything, but I would expect you to remember as I can't be bothered. You'd also have to attend most of my meetings and all my evening activities.

Clearly you need an assistant for your assistant, so that you either have someone to step in when your assistant is out, or someone to handle all of that tediousness for your assistant so that she can spend her time assisting you.
