Warren Worthington III, only son of the wealthy Worthington Industries owner and millionaire playboy. Warren is also a mutant, a fact his family remains ignorant of and which would ruin him if it became known to the public (or his anti-mutant father). After dabbling in vigilante heroics in New York, Warren was encouraged to come to the mansion to make something more of his life. He was part-way successful - for a time he was head of X-Factor Investigations, a detective agency operating out of District X, and he also strove to use his position in his father's company to improve mutant rights. He even found a steady girlfriend in Bobbi Morse. The after effects of an encounter with a demon in Limbo threatened to derail all the good he had done and it was only with the help of the friends he had tried hard to alienate that he survived. In the process of rebuilding his reputation after a number of demon-fueled scandals, Warren has accepted a job in Switzerland with his father's company, hoping to become a new man, with Bobbi by his side.
